Engage all of your senses at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Icewine Festival. It’s a celebration of all things Icewine. With the range of community events as well as winery and restaurant events taking place over the entire month, you may have to make a return trip! January 13 to January 29, 2017 Niagara Icewine Festival
For three weekends in January, the Niagara Region is transformed into a wintry wonderland, celebrating one of Canada’s most cherished products - Ontario Icewine. From Gala evening toasts to chestnut roasts, ornate ice bars, ice skating and winery tours, the 22nd Annual Niagara Icewine Festival offers plenty for every taste.

The Niagara Wine Festival Discovery Pass is your key to three weekends of wine and culinary adventures at wineries across Niagara. Discovery Pass holders can enjoy eight experiences per pass.
Discovery Passes are available for purchase online, at participating wineries, St. Catharines Ontario Travel Centre (Skyway), Niagara Falls Ontario Travel Centre and Niagara Falls Tourism.

Niagara-on-the-Lake’s historic Queen Street transforms into an unforgettable winter wonderland as the town comes together to play their part in wine country’s annual celebration of Icewine. The Icewine will flow as the 26 Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake pour Canada’s liquid gold and the renowned Signature Kitchen Chefs will tempt your palate with savoury and sweet Icewine-inspired culinary creations. When it’s time to warm up your toes pop into one of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Landmark Shops. Admission to Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Icewine Village is free.
January 28 & 29 11 am – 5 pm
Held in our outdoor Icewine Village, a chance to combine several favourite Niagara-on-the-Lake experiences in one! Wine, culinary and retail therapy. Held over two days, 11 am to 5 pm, Saturday January 24 and Sunday January 25. Step inside the diverse settings of the Landmark Shops in the Heritage District indulge in some retail therapy.
Outside enjoy Icewine poured by the Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake and accompanied with culinary samples from the Signature Kitchens of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Warm up your winter with a match made in flavour heaven! Experience two of your favourite indulgences – wine and chocolate – as you never have before. As you tour the 26 Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake, each stop will feature a delectable pairing of a premium VQA wine and a locally handcrafted chocolate. Your palate will be tantalized with classic flavour combinations and unexpected surprises. This decadent event is perfect for a romantic weekend away, a girls-only getaway and everything in between.
Touring passes are valid for any of the four event weekends. Designated Driver passes are available at a lower price
Tickets will be held for pick-up at the Chamber of Commerce, lower level of the Courthouse, 26 Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake (open from 8:30 to 5 pm seven days a week).

Canada Day Celebrations at Fort George
Established in 1917, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Horticultural Society is one of the oldest Horticultural Societies in Ontario. The society’s mandate is to promote horticultural stewardship and knowledge and encourage people to respect the environment and develop gardens.
Funds raised from the ticket sales support the Society’s charitable activities. Tickets are $12 each in advance or $15 at timeof arrival.

27th Annual Peach Festival August 12th
In celebration of the local peach harvest come join us for the Annual Peach Festival on Queen St.
There will be a sidewalk sale of the merchants from the Queen St area as well as lots of tasty “Peachy” delights from local bakeries and restaurants and of course local growers selling their delicious fresh peaches.
The day runs from 10:00am – 5:00pm on the blocks of Queen St from Victoria St to King Street. On Sunday, the festival continues at St. Vincent de Paul Church.
